April 2007
- April 3rd meeting with planning team for the Black Clergy Leadership Institute scheduled for September 16th to 18th, 2007 at the Cathedral College of Washington, DC
- April 6th Preaching at Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Decatur, GA.
- April 9th - April 12th, 2007 Voorhees College, Denmark, SC Campus Ministry Symposium. This marks the beginning of a series of campus ministries to be held on each of the three Historically Black Episcopal Colleges and Piney Woods High School in Jackson, Mississippi. Clergy and lay delegates from a broad geographic area will be invited to participate in the various events that will continue.
It is hoped that these ministries will help to develop closer ties with the Colleges. Also, as we interact with students, and become more involved on the campus, continuing activities may serve to advance the diversity initiatives outlined in the Episcopal Churchs 20/20 imperative.
- April 13th April 15th, 2007 AFRECS Third Annual Conference, St. Louis, Missouri. This conference promises to offer beneficial speakers and workshops, and many great opportunities to gather and talk with others who share interest in Sudan.
- April 16th April 18th Planning Team Meeting at DaySpring Conference Center for the 8th Triennial Black Clergy Conference scheduled for October 2008.
- April 27th April 29th, 2007 Detroit, Michigan - Coordinating workshops for Vestry and Preaching at St. Matthews and St. Josephs
