Principal Feasts
The seven greatest feasts of the church year. The principal feasts of the Episcopal Church are Easter Day, Ascension Day, the Day of Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, All Saints' Day (Nov. 1), Christmas Day (Dec. 25), and the Epiphany (Jan. 6) (BCP, p. 15). The principal feasts take precedence over any other day or observance. All Saints' Day may be observed on the Sunday following Nov. 1 in addition to its observance on the fixed date.
